NIKOLAY MIKHAYLOVICH YANCHUR – A PHYSICIAN, SCIENTIST, MOTHERLAND DEFENDER
A brief bibliography of the famous Byelorussian surgeon, Professor Nikolay Mikhaylovich Yanchur, who was the head of the faculty surgery chair of Vitebsk state medical university, is presented in the article. The main stages of his life are shown, his participation in numerous wars as military doctor is described. Special attention is paid to the scientific activity and development of one of Vitebsk surgical schools.
