INFLUENCE OF DIFFERENT VARIANTS OF CHOLEDOсHOTOMY INCISION CLOSURE ON ASCENDING INFECTION SPREADING AND INFLAMMATORY PROCESS EXPRESSION OF THE BILIARY SYSTEM IN EXPERIMENT

Objectives. To study the influence of different variants of choledochotomy incision closure on ascending infection spreading and inflammatory process expression of the biliary system in experiment.
Methods. The experiment was carried out on 15 adult rabbits (mass 3,4 ± 0,2 kg). All laboratory animals were divided into 3 groups according to the variants of choledochotomy incision closure.
Group № 1 consisted of 5 animals with the primary precision suture of choledochotomy incision. Group № 2 included 5 rabbits with the external drainage of the common bile duct after choledochotomy. Group № 3 consisted of 5 animals with the precision suture of choledochotomy incision using hidden drainage of common bile duct.
Ascending infection spreading and inflammatory process expression of the biliary system were estimated by bacteriological, microscopic and pathohistological methods of investigation.
Results. External drainage of common bile duct led to ascending infection spreading and more expressive inflammatory process of the biliary system in comparison with the precision suture of choledochotomy incision without drainage and with using hidden drainage of the common bile duct.
Conclusions. The experiment results showed advantages of precision suture of choledochotomy incision without drainage and with using hidden drainage of the common bile duct in comparison with external drainage of the common bile duct.
