INFLUENCE OF DEEP VEIN VALVE INSUFFICIENCY ON THE LOWER LIMBS VARICOSITY RECURRENCE

76 patients were examined in order to clarify the role of deep vein valve insufficiency in pathogenesis of the lower limbs varicosity recurrence. Clinical and instrumental investigations were carried out. To estimate the lower limbs deep veins state ultrasound and angiographic examinations were carried out in all the cases. All the patients were operated on. The data of preoperative examination were compared with the intraoperative finds during the operation itself. As the result the causes resulting in the disease recurrence were estimated.
The performed analysis shows that valve apparatus insufficiency of the lower limbs deep veins is one of the main factors contributing to the development of the varicosity recurrence and chronic venous insufficiency progress. That is why in all the patients the state of deep veins has to be thoroughly examined before the operation in order to solve the question concerning the necessity of the operative correction of the revealed disturbances and the determination of postoperative rehabilitation tactics.
