FUNCTIONAL DISTURBANCES CHARACTER IN THE LOWER LIMBS VARICOSITY PATIENTS AND SCLEROTHERAPY POTENCY
1879 workers of the industrial enterprises, employees and workers of the agricultural sphere including 1068 men and 811 women were examined in order to study the prevalence of the lower limbs varicosity as well as the causes of the disease development, presence and character of functional disturbances and morphological changes in case of the disease development.
This disease is determined to be widely spread in the Republic of Belarus as more than 28% of examined people suffer from it.
For the differential evaluation of the pathology character the principle of the lower limbs varicosity according to 10 positions characterizing the degree of functional disturbances was worked out as well as according to the clinical course (non-complicated, complicated, preulcerous, ulcerous).
The results analysis shows that phlebosclerosing therapy with thrombovar is an effective treatment method of those stages of the disease which are functionally reversible. The application of the phlebosclerosing therapy in the patients with marked disturbances of the flow-out function and complications is the inadequate method of treatment.
