VENOUS TROPHIC ULCERS TREATMENT WITH THE METHOD OF RADIO-WAVE SURGERY
The efficacy results of the radio-wave surgery method application in complex treatment of the patients with trophic ulcers of venous etiology were studied. 20 patients at the age of 31-85 with chronic venous incompetence of the 6th class were included in the research. The apparatus«Surgitron EMC» with the wave length of 3.8 MHz was applied for radio-surgical necrectomy. The operation was performed on the second day after a patient’s hospitalization. Defect closure with bifid skin graft was later performed in some patients. The results were compared with the group of patients who underwent traditional treatment.
The analysis shows that application of this technique in complex treatment of venous trophic ulcer patients produces favorable conditions for early defect closure, contributes to skin graft implanting, permits to decrease complications frequency, and reduces treatment terms. Radio-wave surgery method can be used in complex treatment of the patients with trophic ulcers of venous etiology.
