THE WAY OF GREAT SUCCESS – TO THE 90-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF IVAN ANTONOVICH PETUKHOV
On the twenty seventh of April, 2007, ninety years from the date of birth of a great scientist and a wonderful person, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Ivan Antonovich Petukhov passed. Professor Petukhov has worked in medicine for more than fifty five years, including about 30 years at Vitebsk State Medical Institute. During this period of time more than a hundred scientific works were published by him, a number of the manuals for doctors and students were written. Under the supervision of D.M. Ivan Antonovich Petukhov over ten scientific theses were prepared. High professionalism, adherence to the principles, efficiency, organizational talent, love to the youth, care, and warm-heartedness of I.A. Petukhov gained him high respect and authority among colleagues, students and patients.
