THE FIRST EXPERIENCE OF LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERIES IN THE PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC PANCREATITIS
Laparoscopic surgeries have been introduced in practical work of the clinic since 2007 in case of chronic pancreatitis and its complications: laparoscopic pancreatojejunostomy, cystojejunostomy, gastrocystostomy and distal pancreas resection. Altogether 8 patients have been operated on.
The first experience of carrying out laparoscopic surgeries on the pancreas in case of chronic pancreatitis allows speaking about prospects of the given technique. Endosurgical intervention can be successful in case of thorough selection of patients, taking into account anatomic peculiarities of their pancreas and its ducts system in each particular case. To perform laparoscopic surgeries on the pancreas one needs high-tech diagnostic equipment (intra-operative ultra-sound examination, magnetic-resonant pancreatocholangiography) and up-to date laparoscopic instruments.
